my dream vacation: zzzzzz with no calculus homework

it's funny that how my last post includes a lot of things that have happened again: another tv political debate and another success story in the lunch lines. but i would now like to further address what has been going on in my mind lately. here goes nothing:

zzzzzzzzzzz....... z...z.... z?

ok well that was something at least. or rather something i wish had been going on. things have been seeming to get very busy lately. oh yeah i have to leave in 10 mins to go to my sectional and then band practice. it is so awesome being section leader because i can do, say, and play what i want, when i want. ahhh yes, want. i want a lot for myself. maybe you could say that was greed getting the best of me. but i prefer to see it as avoidance of cyncism and pessimism. at least i can say i have hope. its more than than most people have. anyways i am lazy and greedy. i am human. (sorry i know sometimes you wouldn't guess that from the majority of my blog entries)

wow i haven't written in half a month. half a month seems a lot longer than 15 days or two and a half weeks, dont you think? lol. i need a vacation. there i go again with my wants.

school wise things go from extremes. my absolute/global minimum would be calculus. i'm getting a "B" the first friggen nine weeks!! and i got a "C" on a test..... a low "C".... like "C" minus.... hehe. relative/local minimum would be AP English. it is really no fun. i don't enjoy it at all. and i don't feel like i'm learning. at all. my local max would be getting a 100% on my latest stat test. and my global max: highest grade of 100% average in law studies with the rest of the class far below. if you consider "B"s through "D"s far.

the irony of those mins and maxes: my calc test and stat test were on the same day. the night before was band practice so i decided to only study for calc. i studied over two hours. and like i mentioned before, the results: calc test - "C-" and stat test - "100%". i tried so hard to do well in calc and i tried even harder to not get my name in the top ten list for stat. why must my efforts always fail? (haha it's Marcy's Paradox. that was for all my AP stat homies)

ok time to get going to band. gotta find my shako. gee, i hate that word. band hat is so much cooler. but, we must be P.C. that reminds me of this article i read in Newsweek today. you gotta love old guys. so what do you think, am i a true curmudgeon at heart? maybe when it comes to blogging. nah. catch ya later when i can find a working computer to write another post.
