Experience the Warmth
yay my section rocks! euphs for life. we still need to come up with a slogan. any ideas anyone? we've decided to make hoodies. sounds like fun to me. the drumline thinks they are all cool with their new hats. lol. tonight my section did a dancing thing and we did horn visuals! it was so much fun. i feel bad for bigger sections who can't do that kind of stuff because it's all of us in a section do it the same or no one does so they don't even stand a chance. one freshie is plenty for me.well the game kinda sucked. i personally sucked. musically that is. for the first time in loooong time, i totally screwed up while playing. it sounded bad. opps. hehe.
dude, i'm listening to one of my favorite songs right now. incubus - the warmth... good song. oooh yeah! here's the lyrics:
"I'd like to close my eyes go numb / but there's a cold wind coming from the top of the highest high-rise today. / It's not a breeze cause it blows hard. / Yes and it's wants me to discard the humanity I know / Watch the warmth blow away. (Chorus) *Don't let the world bring you down / Not everyone here is that f*cked up and cold / Remember why you came and while you're alive experience the warmth before you grow old* / Do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier and leave in my wake a trail of fear? / Or should I hold my head up high and throw a wrench in spokes by leaving the air behind me clear? "
one morning quite a while ago, i got out of my car and realized that the car next to me had it's keys in the door. it was practically begging to be stolen. i looked inside and discovered a cheerleading jacket. ha. i didn't know they were that absent minded. ok marcy, let's not stereotype people now. well ok, they deserve it.
speaking of stereotypes, i am so glad my english essay is over and done with. i hardly have any time to do homework and spend time on it. i'll admit, Mark Twain was genius, but i don't have the time to analyze his entire span of geneousness in one essay. life is too short. and so was my essay. and then speaking of cracking essay jokes, i totally cracked a good one in class today and craig and i just laughed our heads off. ggg knew it too and mentioned it out loud. it was so funny. you had to be there.
today was ok. nothing incredibly exciting except that we might not have school monday because of another hurricane. but what else is new? stats was uhh fun?? we had Mr. Pfuffer or Pifer. what ever possessed Curtis to let him sub for her? Mr. P is a nice guy, but he is so psycho that letting him be alone in a room full of kids bewilders my wildest imagination. Brian thinks we should get him psychiatric help. Ms. Curtis just might need it more, especially after that insanely retarded nutrition project. ok it's a joke...
did i ever tell you how much i love cinnamon sugar poptarts? well i do.
plans for tomorrow:
- sleep in
- wash car
- nap
- jet ski
- rest eyes
- work on band website
- afternoon nap
- work on my website
- be lazy
- chat on aim
- late afternoon nap
ok... you get the idea. a lot of sleep is on the way. lately i've been going to bed around two, which mean i get less than four hours of sleep. i guess it's not as bad as Reed who got two hours last
ok it's around one now. i wonder how long my mom will let me sleep in tomorrow. she thinks i'm going to laundry mat with her in the morning, but i think she needs to think again. i hope i can get at least twelve hours of sleep but i guess we will see...
